"Hey Jude" The Beatles

-Dear Indie love-
So appalling in a sweet soothing touching way.
I seem to find that i just can not stop listening to this piece. On a sad moving sunless day. Clouds afloat and the birds tucked away...I will put this on. It is epic as epic! If you understand what I mean. Or at least intending to mean.
The wondrous chant towards the end makes it!
At the beginning of the song my heart feels soft and hurts like longing....but when the chant comes it puts a smile on my face at first the chant starts slowly and lightly...then it picks up...all the while making my frown turn upside down larger, bigger.

Colors of the rainbow underground and above.

-Dear Indie love-
During this past summer, I have taken the opportunity to go into deep study of gemstones whether semi precious or precious. I have recently been enthralled with such a passion and fire for this topic of sorts.

Anyway, I just wanted to share with you this picture. Here are just the basics of the color ranges of gems. It really was something when i first found out that sapphire not ONLY comes in just blue but other shades and colors as well.

This chart is just the tip though. ;)

Eyes of apples. Tarsiers.

On the lookout.
-Dear Indie love-
What a cute little beast. Savage looking and appalling as well. He is a Tarsier. This type of animal reign in the Philippines. In the jungles....they leap from tree to tree and gobble up their fave treat monstrous grasshoppers.
Did you know these creatures are endangered. Yes they are reason so, many idiots think these lovely animals are up for becoming pets. How against nature!! Forcing an innocent being to transition from wild to house broken! What kind of world do we live in!!!?
There is a protection program to save the tarsiers from that misery.
Mirror image of crazy cute!
I love all Tarsiers amazing and different all on there own.

screw the bolt!

-Dear Indie love-
Around 14k gold one topped with a bolt and centered with a tiny round diamond, the other a nut. Sheer genius if you ask me. Believe it or not these rings (which are a pair) are men's wedding rings!!! It is the reason I love jewelry...so many designs you can achieve the impossible. Ok im getting a little worked up here.
So I have no idea who designed the rings, where to purchase, and for how much.
If I did I definitely would have scored these for myself....ahah because im weird like that. But I don't care men's rings or not If I like it well hello!

Merry...

-Dear Indie love-
Here is another great poem by dear Shel Silverstein. It is about a "holiday" event.

                                                          Merry...
                                       No one's hangin' stockin's up,
                                       No one's bakin' pie,
No one's lookin' up to see
A new star in the sky.
                                       No one's talkin' brotherhood,
                                       No one's givin' gifts,
And no one loves a Christmas tree
                                      On March the twenty-fifth.

Infra gold

-Dear Indie love-
Excellent color choice! This dress is a shocking (as most reds are) infra red. Sheer at the bottom for movement as well the 3/4 sleeves for that fresh breeze to kick in on a summer day. Short and cutsey (Is that even a word?) Gold buttons on upper portion make this sailor vintage. White piping is the icing on this frock. The collar whoa do not get me started on collars...which lately has been a quite an obsession of mine. I think i might just get this. It is an everyday piece...I try to see the versatility in all things..but that is besides the point. Back to the dress...

Somebunny to gaze!

  -Dear Indie love-
Gold metal, costume and how fun! This necklace is a conversation starter. Don this bold bunny with acid wash jeans and a frilly blouse. The green eyes almost seem to imitate cabochons of jade or columbian emerald. His head is of good size as he is hanging from a sturdy cable link chain.

Oh how I miss those winter days!

-Dear Indie love-
It is hot blistering sunny days in summer like these, that i do really wish to be in the middle of the dead of winter. It is thick with humidity and the oh so unforgiving rays of the brutal sun are a shame. Winter is my favorite season. At is now and until the end. The feeling of the numbing wind and the calm of the sunless sky is my kind of day. As for now as i type this while a couple of beads of sweat roll down my face...i ask Winter wont you come back to us again?

Originals of "I am ME"

-Dear Indie love-
Fashion, style of the 1940s were conservative and well put together. (One of the reasons I love it!)
This picture is a good explanation and example. A free independent woman just walking down a public sidewalk enjoying herself. Notice her smile oh, she knows all eyes are on her!

"The Search"

-Dear Indie love-
Here is a poem by Shel silverstein. Sir silverstein is a wonderful poet he includes whimsical reality mixed with ironic humor. I recommend checking out more of his work. But notice you will be seeing more of his poetry on here for me to share with you.
                                                          "The Search"
I went to find a pot of gold
That's waiting where the rainbow ends.
I searched and searched and searched and searched
And searched and searched, and then-
There it was, deep in the grass,
Under an old and twisty bough.
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine at last...
What do i search for now?
